Final Crossroads Program 10-30-17
Cyber at the Crossroads was held on Oct 10, 2017, at University of Maryland University College (UMUC). The symposium was co-sponsored by the National Security Agency’s Cyber Center for Education and Innovation–Home of the National Cryptologic Museum and UMUC and attracted hundreds of cybersecurity professionals to hear panels of experts talk about the past, present and future of protecting information from hackers, thieves and spies, including the seminal Eligible Receiver ’97 (ER97) exercise conducted by the U.S. Department of Defense in 1997. A video briefing conducted following ER97 was declassified by the National Security Agency and a redacted version shown to the public for the first time at the symposium.

The not-for-profit National Cryptologic Museum Foundation (NCMF) and the National Security Agency (NSA) established a private-public partnership under federal legislative authority to create the Cyber Center for Education & Innovation (CCEI), Home of the National Cryptologic Museum (NCM) facility at Fort Meade, Maryland.
